The 5 Love Languages of Teenagers
Dr. Gary Chapman
Gary Chapman is best known for his best selling book The 5 Love Languages. It is a book that is often recommended during premarital (and midmarital) counseling. When I first saw The 5 Love Languages of Teenagers, my initial thought was, “Look he is trying to cash in even more off the first book.” I could not have been more wrong.
Chapman presents a look into the lives and culture of teenagers and how communication with teenagers is more difficult than ever before. He presents the five love languages (quality time, words of affirmation, physical touch, gifts, and acts of service) as a tool to not only more effectively love your teenager, but to also build a better relationship based on communication.
The original book is a little dated, being published in 2000, but has since been updated. Make sure if you pick up a copy you get the 2010 version. If you have read the book tell us what you think.

You’re so interesting! I do not believe I have read through anything like this before. So nice to discover somebody with some original thoughts on this topic. Seriously.. many thanks for starting this up. This website is one thing that’s needed
on the web, someone with a little originality!
